No. The recording is the source of truth. The transcript is its faithful textual representation: your pauses become natural breaks, your words stay exactly as spoken. There is no AI cleanup, no grammar correction, no polishing.
No. Speech is transcribed entirely on your device using an embedded model. Audio and transcripts stay in local storage. Your account is used for your plan, the free trial, billing, referrals and Dictionary sync, not for uploading your voice.

The optional keyboard (iPhone) and overlay (Android) let you insert the same on-device transcript into other apps like Messages, Notes, or email.
